Israel, which has been occupying since 1948 when the British abandoned Palestine, declared Quds the capital city in 1980, but until now no state has recognized this decision.
In December 2017, the US administration announced that Quds was recognized as Israel's capital. At first many states, including Turkey protested for defending this decision will lead to a major crisis.
Although Jewish settlements in Quds are considered illegal by international law, Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories continues.
We do not accept the occupation and the recognition of Quds as the capital of Israel. We call on the international public, Islamic countries and the UN to pass a law against this illegality.
